Posted - 17/07/2012 : 19:04:58 Yeah not taking into account the fact that cigarettes are now about £2 more expensive at the price I paid 2 years ago I have saved £3650 by not smoking. And I haven't missed it, not even for a day. |

Posted - 17/07/2012 : 18:57:36 Haha I couldn't even begin to work it out, it would easily be over a grand. I dont care though if I'm honest, I decided I wanted to keep reptiles but only if I stopped smoking I could use my smoking money. 2 years off the cigarettes and a house full of things that make me happy. Good times, lol. |

Posted - 17/07/2012 : 18:54:04 Ahh, but what would you have spent that money on if you'd not spent it on snakes?
Personally, I don't smoke, do drugs, have kids and only drink every now and then. Gotta spend it on something |

Posted - 17/07/2012 : 17:31:44 Absolutely, part of that money is still I've not even got yet but have put deposits on haha! Knew I wouldn't turn a profit in a long time anyway :) It's a dangerous thread this we're really getting a blunt view on how much our hobby controls our life. I only make £11k a year that means I'm spending almost 30% of my total income on reptiles :O Takes my hourly rate from £11 an hour to £7.70 :O ... Time to quit, anyone wanna buy some snakes? ;) lol |

Posted - 17/07/2012 : 17:26:42 I guess that's why that say don't do it for the money
I'm sure without doubt, you'd spend it all over again if you had the chance. That's the allure of this hobby |
