loki has a slightly grey nose and tip of his chin. i dont know if this may just be a little developement in his colouration. i will admit i have been a bit busy and not handled him as much in the last couple of weeks. i am unable to look in his mouth and he did feed tonight but i am concerned it could be mouth rot. there is no bubbles or mouth open. i wonder if i should take him to the vets.

If he is just a normal royal python he may be due to shed soon. Check his belly and if the belly is slightly pink and milky in colour he will shed soon. That is what happen to my normal royal. First his nose and tip of his chin become a lot darker than normal, then his belly change colour, then his eyes and then he sheds.

Kane's nose went a funny colour once after striking at his glass doors... It looked like what I can only describe at a bruise.

as said the colour change could be due to rubbing or a few lost scales from shedding.
with mouth rot you wont see many signs untill they cant close their mouth properly and it usually comes on with an RI

He might of just rubbed his face too much on his rub so might shed it off soon I'd keep an eye on it and if you get to worried or you get any other symptoms then could get it checked out
