Taurrus (Might be spelt wrong, can't find my mag lol) are a form of microscopic "bugs" that feed primarily on snake-mites, you simply buy a pack of these insects, release them into your vivarium and they seek and destroy all snake mites they can get their little nasty claws on ^^
I believe they're now selling them in various pack sizes from £30 upwards! Sounds interesting indeed I look forward to see how it goes! |

Posted - 13/01/2013 : 14:56:07 The magazine said that hypoaspis mites are great at preventing but they don't take adult females which can be the main problem they focus on eggs and juveniles, apparetly these things go to town on all mites. |

Posted - 13/01/2013 : 14:53:21 Hypoaspis/defender mite's have read that they can clear mite infestation's in a week but other's claim they didnt work.
if i remember right you tip the mite's into several area's of the viv and get them damp to wake them up i assume |
