my pythons just young and the tip of her tail is rock hard what could that be

They can be naturally hard.

well i just got her on saturday and its the very tip of her tail just 2 mils or so

retained shed should be fairly obvious, if it's been going on for a while the tip could turn necrotic (die) and go black before eventually dropping off, usually in a shed....

Hello, they do have hard tips, or do you mean more than just the very tip?

If so, it could be that she has had some shed retained in the past and the end of the tail has died and will eventually drop off.
