Hey guys I were reading about the whole head wobbling issue with the Spider morph. Is that only in the Spider morph? Or could it be passed on? Reason why I'm asking Ive got a long shot idea/project breeding Mojave Spiders, so if one of the parents were a Spider could it affect or passed on to the new snakes?

I have a spider and he's great the only time I see him wobble is when his head vibrates up and down as I offer food, he just gets so excited, he eats constantly so you have to keep them on a diet for their own good lol, I am planning to introduce him this season to a female and see if I can get my first brood in advance of next year when i'll have at least 4 females ready (different morphs) and by then a male Cinny pewter too

Fiestastlou I wouldn't panic yet about your corn going missing, I lost an adult for 6 months, found it in someones bush 200 yards away from the house, and a baby corn last year for 2 weeks which was across the main road in someones basement. Good luck in finding him/her.

I'd noticed the gap when I was setting up for my corns.
Easy solution though is to put a sheet of clear acetate on top before closing the lid.

same with small rubs to tho, im in process of looking for my corn, been nearly a week! :( dont think its much of a prob with baby royals n small rubs, know what u mean about the xl ones tho, our older royal would have easly got out when he was a baby if he was in there

Almost had a heat attack last night when my girlfriend phoned me while I was at work and asked me "Babes where did you put the Spider (the Royal) because she`s not in the RUB"
My spider escaped! Had the worst night at work, couldnt wait to get home! Got home and after my girlfriend said "Ive looked everywhere" took me less then 5min to find her in the wardrobe :) So I think my Spider just got her name "Marry Houdini"

Personal note dont use the RUBs with the XL lids with very small royals there are gaps!

Funny thing about my spider... He was hanging out on top of his hide... Then he decided to get off, so he crawled down the side and went upside down into his cave. No biggie except that I was looking at what I can see of his body the entire time and he was coiling belly up!

Sometimes, the spiders just do some silly things!

Got my Royals yesterday, and saw my Spider have the slight wobble. Got a feeling she`s soon going to be my fav!
