I haven't visited this vet but have heard good reports and when ringing with a query prior to a possible appointment, was very pleased with their professional and caring approach.

They are principally small animal/farm animal vets but they have one qualified reptile vet, Sid, who is based at their main branch:

Donaldson and Partners
Maple St
off Kings Mill Lane
Aspley (on the Wakefield Rd just out of Huddersfield)
HD5 9AX
Tel 01484 421512 - Main surgery, on call 24/7

Closest to Wakefield:

Donaldson and Partners
Queen St
Mirfield
W Yorks WF14 8AH
Tel 01924 492200

They have 2 other branches in Birchencliffe and Thongsbridge.

Although Sid is based in Aspley, vets at other branches are willing to examine reptiles and give first aid and simple treatment, and if more qualified reptile treatment is required, the reptile will be referred to Sid.

Hope this doesn't sound too complicated but they're the most convenient rep vet for the Wakefield area if you have to rely on public transport.

Thanks mods
