one of the new royals i have has a missing anal spur i have been reading up that they can lose them occasionally just wanted to know if anyone could clear up a question as have read conflicting views.

basically do they grow back? some post say they do slowly but others say that they dont

Hi!

My Pied has lost one some weeks ago ( my guess is during shed) and so far there is no new one.

not worried just interested. did read on another forum some breeder said he removes/clips them to help identify each snake

No idea but they dont do anything so I wouldn't worry either way. I have heard of them been clipped so I guess they do grow.
