Posted - 28/10/2011 : 20:51:20 Hi guys my cb10 cerberus is coming up to 1000g and I'm guessing at some point in the future he's going to be getting the "urge" lol but I won't be putting him with a female any time soon and was wondering if I need to remove any plugs that might appear or just leave him to it???? |

Posted - 31/10/2011 : 17:00:46 LOL - animals don't care ...I've had to interfere with girl cats in order to deliver kittens ...BIG relief!!
If the little guy needs a helping hand, well, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do ...even if he needs another man of a different species to help him out ... |

Posted - 31/10/2011 : 16:52:21 To be honest Bats that was more the question I had in mind ERRRR silly me lol, I checked him over last night and there was no sign (thank god lol) I was just worried in case it was something I needed to do and didn't know. I don't know if it's a man thing but I think I'd rather change a nappy any day than touch another males man jui*e even if that man is a totally different speceis lol |

Posted - 31/10/2011 : 13:59:30 Hi, is it a question of actually pulling the plugs out of the cloaca then? I'm assuming they stay gummy and quite solid rather than goo that can be wiped. Does your male exude them in the breeding season, and is it something to watch out for at this time of year and make sure the male's clean? |

Mind you, I've never changed a nappy in my life ...urrgggghhh! But most women have.
Can do anything for animals though so I suppose the maternal instinct surfaced there lol. |

Posted - 28/10/2011 : 22:10:43 Not comfortable with sperm plugs, I can do poo, wee and regurge but there is someting about sperm plugs that I hope they keep them to themselves. BUT I have nerded a bit on this and they can be gently removed if they are protruding but I think leaving it as found is the best way unless (as seen on another post today) its causing issues with shedding etc. |
