Help ?? Prince has loads of small black things crawling on him :S he was fine when i got him 8 or 9 weeks ago so it must be from his new viv maybe ?! what are they and how do i make them go away as there everywhere and really freaking me out ? also should i bath him ?

My girl came with mites, i have put her in a rub with paper down and a hide and water that is it. i wash her each evening in warm water with a touch of olive oil for 10 mins and clean out the rub each day. don't know if it will kill them off but they don't seem to be around has much has they was. will get some mite off tomorrow. she is still eating tho which is good

just got over my little mite infection, took about 3 weeks all in all. collingtons mite spray is quite good. hope you get sorted soon, nuke the little gits.

it is mites but iv gone to shop and bought some stuff to clean out viv then will bath prince xx

Have a read of this, including the links, as tiny insects in the viv are not necessarily mites. If you're using orchid bark, that usually comes with a few little passengers such as compost gnats and the like; all are harmless.

If you do have mites, then everyone swears by this stuff:-
