Hi all. Bimisi has been fine up until about hour ago. now he seems to be holding his head at a funny angle and he seems to be coiling and un-coiling, rolling around and striking at himself. I did assist feed him yesterday, but i was bearly touching his head, (hardly really, he was still able to move his head around)and he was fine afterwards, (he ate the food).

Is he having a fit? He's striking mainly halfway down his body. (he's not striking all the time, only a couple times so far)

I'm really worried, don't think he'll make it this time

-----------------------

Woke up this morning, and he's passed =( Really upsetting. Second pet i've lost in less that a month. First one i lost was Walter my Rex rabbit, and now Bimisi. When walter died, i bought a big pot, and a Christmas tree and put him in there. Just dug a little hole in the pot and put Bimisi in there too.

@lotabob; They are in a viv stack, and yeah, they're fine. They're currently going through a fast, probably that time of the year lol. I will be keeping a close eye on them though!!

Awww that's sad. Sorry for your loss.

Are your others all OK? Were they all housed together in the same room?

I think you need to ring a rep vet - decent ones have out of hours numbers. Also decent vets won't drag you in for an out of hours appointment unless totally necessary - but they will advise you on what to do until an appointment in hours with them.

Having assist-fed myself, I really can't think you've done anything to cause this by assist feeding Bimisi, by the way - if he hadn't been comfortable with you, he wouldn't have taken that rodent down.

Really really sorry to hear this and hope he will be ok.

All the very very best, fingers crossed for you. x

Just thought i'd mention, he's not doing this all the time, for a while he'll be fine, then he'll have a ''fit''
