I only noticed it tonight..he passed what looked like 2 very small poops, one was white. Then while handling I ran my hand gently along his belly and felt a small hard flap..felt like a scab. I didn't examine visually, is this something that requires treatment?
He's lively and has taken both meals with no hesitation.

Hmm well happy hand feeding at the moment..but when he's big and wants full sized locusts..not a chance in hell lol I can't stand the hoppers..I put the tub in the viv and lift the lid hehe *shivers*

Bert the Staffy can be as pigheaded as a stone troll..Gimli is just adorable and shows off his beard..and Fëanor I hope he doesn't live up to his name :)

Glad you like the names and Arwen Evenstar is a great name for a Siamese, really suits .

Oh lol - does sound like Gimli's training you but if you and he are happy, what the hell eh?

Try running your hand down the wrong way of the length of Slinky's belly next time you handle ...as a snake moves, bunches of muscle contract and expand and a big 'lump' will have disappeared with the next snakey movement. I used to worry like hell until I realised this. I nearly had a fit when I saw, for the first time, Ziska's throat puff up like a bullfrog's ...I had the vet visit arranged and the funeral planned!

Love your guys' names by the way - I had a Siamese Annie who was really Arwen Evenstar (registered name) and I wanted to call her daughter Shashi 'Elbereth Gilthoniel' only that was too long so Shashi got registered as 'Middlearth Moon' ...only recently found that 'Shashi' means 'moon' ...

I tell you Bats i'll be a nervous wreck lol and I just added to my worries..it did feel like a hard flap of skin. I'll keep an eye on him, but he seems quite content.

On a positive note Gimli ate well today, but already I did wrong the pet guy said under no circumstances hand feed a beardie..erm I already have and now he waits..grr lol

The white thing he passed would be a urate, solid royal wee that looks like a mint imperial lol.

The hard flap of scale ...all snakes' ventral scales move like fur - is this what you felt? If so, it's normal, and royals' ventral scales are very large, so hope all is well.
