My problems are with Ra, my Beauty Snake but are relevent to Royals as well.

He is around 7 months old and has fed three times with me on Crawler mice, last being 07/05/2012 so just 9 days.

He fed the day he entered the 'blue' phase, it was then I placed the moss box which he used. I also increased the humidity, but the shed is messy. He was covered in patches, last night we bathed him for approx 50 mins and we helped him lose all the pieces except a few just behind his head.

Since his last feed, he has no interest in a mouse, not even a pinky.

A snake of this age, how long can he safely go without a feed?

Thanks Chris :)

Oh boy will I be relieved when he takes his mouse, but feel a little happier now.

even young snakes can go a few weeks or more with no problems
