is this a retained eye cap? he shed about 5 days ago and then i fed him the next day, so i didnt notice untill i took him out just now and saw the denting. he had a sphagnum moss hide for his shed which he definately used as there was skin in there

also is the blueness to his scales on his head also retained shed? or is it the flash playing tricks on me? it doesnt look like that in the flesh

heres a pic from today. looks better but its still there, is it possible that its not retained shed and the lens has been dented?

When I took Ra to the vet for help removing a retained hood and eye caps, he dampened a towel and rubbed his head quite firmly, gradually removing the old shed, and loosened the eye caps so much so they were easily removed with a cotton bud :)

Blueness on his head looks fine but I think that is a retained shed on his eyecap... there's a guide to removing it.
