Something I don't know much about as only had one season so far.

What do you guys reckon is a good amount of years on and off to be breeding the same female?

Sounds good, I'm trying to balance my keenness to finally hatch a BEL with the well being of the snake, it feels like she's only just laid eggs to me but that's probably because it's been so exciting! She's gaining alot more weight now than before :)

yee alot of breeders will say if they are a bigger weight before breeding than last season then they are good to go.
personally i will be doing a system of giving them a year off when i feel they need it, i.e. if the female hasnt put much weight on compared to the year before then i will give them a year off to gain more weight

I'd go by condition and if she's eating good

Although 3 on one off wouldnt go a miss
But end of the day it's up to you the breeder
