Hey guys jsut wondering to myself after reading a few breeding guides,
do royals stick to certian times of the year when they are ready to
breed or can it be controlled by when you lower the temp's or ...
as i know you can for other reptiles, thanks, matt :p

Just having a read through http://www.ballpython.ca/gallery/breeding.html again, and i would just like to get a few things
straight in my head, maybe im over thinking this...

- When the male and female lock, does this initiate the sequence for the female to start building follicles?
or would she still build them but would be irrelevant without the male.

- When the follicle building behaviour has started is it time to stop introducing males? Has the time slot passed
Already? And when should the male stop being placed with the female?

- Can/do the females go through this process anyway, though only produce eggs if they are fertile?

I really do feel I am being silly here but hey! (thats all I can think of for now :) )

I think most stick to the breeding season but you do get early and late clutches aswell, suppose it just depends if the snakes are in the mood for it lol
