Is there any clue that the eggs are really close to hatching? Mine are all denting nicely, holding heat very well and I can see black shadows in them when I candle them..
I'm currently on day 47 and I'm hoping they hatch before next Wednesday as I'm going to Germany and really don't want to miss my first ever clutch hatching!!

Okay good haha I've been reading all these stories and panicing!

Virtually never happens, mostly just an excuse used by inpatient people to cut the eggs lol

I've read in some forums that people have had their hatchlings drown in the eggs if they take long to hatch.. has anyone had this happen? I've read some horror stories about hatchlings today (which I know was a bit stupid) and now I am worrying about everything! Mostly because this is my first clutch so it's all very new!

No need to worry
They will hatch when ready
Super dimpled is good :)
Means there nearly cooked :)
Within the next 7 days you should see hatchlings

Day 49 and I'm getting impatient.. one of the eggs is super dimpled and I'm getting a bit worried!

I'm so hoping that they hatch soon I'm so excited! There is a lot of condensation on the inside of the box, the shells are really soft and the eggs are heavier :)

The box you have them in should have more condensation on the inside now as they are so close as the eggs themselves are slightly warmer that the incubator, I incubated at 89F and they pipped on day 53, the first hatchling came out that day followed by a second one 6 hours later, a third looked out of the egg after pipping but stayed in there until this morning and I am still waiting for the last one to leave its egg, it keeps peeping out and then disappearing again, I think it will venture out later, other than that Jodi its a matter of waiting and constantly checking :)

Chances are they're close to hatching now! Mine all pipped before day 50 last year
