Posted - 21/12/2010 : 20:49:48 aparently, u can get a het hc albino, i was on rfuk, and some guy was sellin a het hc albino, so i sed u cannot get a het hc, but then got told that if the parent is a hc, u have more chnace of getting hc babies, so is classed as a het hc albino |

Posted - 20/12/2010 : 00:48:53 Often if an albino looks really bright and defined as a youngster the breeder will market it as a HC albino. I do believe however that there are lines of albino bred to be HC and you can see the differance as youngsters and clearly as adults. The yellow is more of an orange and is just much sharper. HC x HC will still give you normal looking albinos in the clutch though. It's like low white pieds can give a high white in the clutch. A HC het is just from a dam or sire that the breeder believes or is from a HC line which i think is false advertising as there are no guarantees. |

Yes, you will get all Albinos back from that pairing.
HC (high contrast) is just a description of the patterning/colours, it is not a different gene.
Thanks BE. |
