Hi, I was planning on starting to breed Royals, primarily as a hobby but ideally some nice morphs to make it worthwhile. I have bought the materials and rubs to make a rack and was going to build up the collection gradually, as and when I could afford. But....I've seen a full set up with a nice rack and the following royals:
Males:
Pied 40 % 750g
Bumble Bee 650g
Granite Orange Ghost 690g
Pinstripe 1120g
Females:
Normal 2500g
Normal 2580g
Normal 1080g
Spider 420g
Pastel 330g
Het Orange Ghost 390g

It's a good price but I'm wondering as it wasn't my plan to spend all in one go, realistically what could I hope to make back in breeding next year at a guess?
Hope that makes sense? Just need to be able to justify sticking it on a credit card!

Just had a mental add up

I'd say snakes are worth
£2600

And the rack
Depending on what it consists of

Normal £125 a level

Then again it's like you say a complete set up

That maybe worth the £3500
After all the searching , traveling, to find what you want

£3500 I've not asked yet if she's negotiable on price, but that's with a 3 tier rack from euroracks with the rubs/stats/mats spare mat hides bowls and the lot and any left over food.
I've seen them all before she decided to sell when I went to fetch a tortoise.

Normal x Pied = 100% Het Piebald, no normals :)

I would say with 3 breedable normal females:

normal x pied = normals @ £60 & het pied @ £120/150
normal x bumble bee = normal @ £60, Spider @ £175 - £225, Pastel @ £100 - £180, Bumblebee @ £500
normal x pinstripe = normal @ £60 & Pinstripe @ £290 - £380
nortmal x granite orange ghost = normal / normal het OG @ £60 - £120 & Granite / Granite het OG @ £80 - £120 (an OG goes at about £180 so I took off a reasonable amount considering it would only be a het)

These aren't set figures, I've simply Guestimated these prices based on what I've seen the fore mentioned morphs priced at both online and instores. And also that getting each morph in a clutch is down to fate!!

Have a look at
www.worldofballpythons.com

And have a play around with the genetics wizard

May I ask how much there asking

Must be a pretty price
