Because a Super Pastel can oly pass one Pastel gene on to offspring and you need two Pastel genes in a Sterling.

Whereas a Pewter (Pastel & Cinnamon) can pass one of each on and the Pastel can pass another Pastel gene on, giving you the possibility of two Pastel genes in the offspring.

Tell u what, ill have a looksy in my morph book, it says pastel x pastel x cinnamon. Basically they are both the same, pewter is pastel cinnamon, so to make it u breed it to pastel, or u can breed super pastel to cinnamon, up to lol
