Posted - 20/08/2011 : 19:34:53 it depends on what you mean by reduced pattern. if you mean a normal that has hatched with a reduced amount of pattern, like no alien heads, then they tend to be the same price as normals, maybe slightly more, if not genetic. there are other reduced pattern royals, for example to patternless morph, that doesnt actually have a price tag because they are that rare and hard to come by |

Posted - 20/08/2011 : 16:03:58 my first ever royal is an 03 reduced pattern, the shop wasnt really a specialist in royals but the shop keeper tried telling me the snake was a jungle phase royal python at the time i believed him but as i came to learn about morphs i realized he didnt have a clue what he was talking about. My Sid is a very bright yellow with a very reduced pattern, almost more of a pastel colour in my opinion. il be breeding him to a normal next year so i hope its genetic.

Posted - 19/06/2011 : 08:26:48 I picked up a nice reduced pattern female for £50, and seen quite a few at similar prices, I suppose it depends on whether the reduced pattern is genetic or a simple natural fluke, the female I have came from a bumblebee x reduced pattern so could possibly be genetic, only time will tell. Next world exotics hunters guide has some useful information on things to look for. Hope that helps. http://www.nextworldexotics.com/hgred.htm |
