Posted - 11/09/2011 : 16:13:37 My son has a CB10 spider male thats weighing around 680g now. Doing so well but he now wants to get a CB10 female with a view to breeding them in the future.
Any advice on price/ best place to buy/ females for sale would be appreciated...or even alternative females as I have a feeling this one sounds expensive!!
Thanks |

Posted - 12/09/2011 : 14:36:38 Remember weight wise your looking at an average of 500g/year. Just like to add. The older the female lesser the more expensive it is going to be and harder to find. To keep cost down buy a hatchling and grow it on. Average CB11 price is £300 |

Posted - 11/09/2011 : 22:57:07 Someone on RFUK had an 09 lesser platinum female for sale in early '10, was asking £450 for her, I'm not an expert on prices so don't know if this is typical, but a rough guide maybe?
They are beautiful royals - hope you find one. |

Posted - 11/09/2011 : 22:25:08 Apparently he wants to breed lesser Bees?? And we're not worried if he has to wait a year or more to do it...he spends all his time watching YouTube videos and reading what he can about breeding and morphs so its more his passion than an urgent need to have baby pythons! How much for a female around the same size as his male?? |

Posted - 11/09/2011 : 17:30:14 i would say you a looking at £300 at least for cb10 spider and abit more for a lesser female, which still might not be ready to breed come next winter. i would say go for a cb09 normal female if he wants to keep the price down and make sure he's breeding next season. that would cost you around £150 i would say for a 2 year old female. good luck and let us know what he buys, or is it you thats paying? haha |

Posted - 11/09/2011 : 16:32:02 Hi, if he wants to breed in the near future, the female needs to be at least 1500-1800g and in her third winter, so a female older than cb10 would be a good idea - and yes, she may be pricey, depending on what morph he wants to create. The lad (males can be smaller and younger than females) will definitely be breeding weight for the coming season and no doubt ready to go lol, all the best! |
