Although the paperwork is basically worth what its written on too. There's no way you could prove that the paperwork relates to a certain animal and also you could breed a het albino year after year and not get a visual, but it wouldn't prove it wasn't het.
Its all down to trust really, unless you see parents, the egg laid and hatch.
so true... |

Posted - 11/04/2009 : 13:36:36 so it is just a case of taking a chance..the animal came from Hamm, but no paperwork...it is local to me, but i am not sure yet as i have my eyes on another...plus my baby in the summer...
he is a nice royal though, much lighter than Peanut. |

Posted - 11/04/2009 : 13:04:23 Theres nothing visual you can look out for. Some people say that there are markers on some hets but its not on every het animal. |

Posted - 11/04/2009 : 13:03:29 Het is non visual im affraid. some people say there are markers for some recessive genes(im seen the pied ones) but they are not always 100%. I would suggest that you ask for paperwork on any 'hets' you are thinking about buying. |
