While I don't doubt that a 14 foot python could kill you, surely there's no way it could swallow a human?

Its debated. A snake cant get around the shoulders on the body if it is laid on the front or back, but if its on the side some people think it could strech its head over and under the shoulders.

Either way a 14 foot snake wont be able to eat an adult.
