Hi to everyone.
Have been looking at forum for a few days now for research. I don't actually have a Royal at the moment but am very interesting in getting one. I starting setting up a viv tonight. Hope to get baby royal in a few more weeks. Just a bit more persuading of the wife to do.

Hello and welcome . The tactic I use with my wife is that she gets the same amount that I spend on snakes to spend on herself. It has worked well so far. Might have to rethink the strategy when I venture into the royal morphs though. That could start getting expensive.

Thanks for the hello's. everyone.

going to trail forums now for answer to some questions.

Like can you put a heat matt under a glass viv?

and in stores you often see a low watt florescent lighting in side the viv. Do you think? this would be possible/practical in a 2'x 1' viv.?

be back soon

Hello & welcome, yes you can have a glass viv on a mat, if you do make sure you use a thermostat & flourescent lights can stress a royal leading to non feeding etc, there's no need for one.
