i got a degenerative disc but they wont remove it ,too risky they said but were going to fuse it then they decided against that as it would probaly make the disc above go.

is it the type that if you have the op it might fail and you end up in the same boat as before?

Five years before i had my surgery they offered me surgery but only on my say so as they were giving me a 50/50 chance of never walking again, next time they offered they gave me a 1/200 chance of never walking again so i went. It was the best thing i ever done, i seldom have any pain now, i would just find after a day out now i would find like a weakness in my back.I was 24 hour pain relief patches before my op. I still have a disc that has a crack in it but they say it shouldn`t give any bother. When i went for the op i was supposed to get 1 removed but they said that 2 others were crumbling so they took them as well.

i did think about taking one of mine out today, but it is to much of a pain getting the dogs away and knowing my kids one of them would let the dogs out, so best if i did do it to do so on a weekday;-)

Nice pic Paulus...you need to cut your grass

Trouble is that hover mowers don't work too well when your lawn has got a surface like the moon. The previous occupiers of this house had a dog. I haven't been able to heave the hover about recently because of my knee. Hopfully going to give it a go today. Knee brace, tubigrip and double dose of Co-codamol should do the trick.
