Hi, how are you measuring your temps? and what are you using to warm the viv?
your cool end sounds to cool, you should ideally be looking at temps of
26-33°C which if i remember right is around 80-91 f
my old fave..have you got a moss box in your snakes viv?

Hi dave and welcome.
as WS said 70f in the cool end is perhaps a bit low. I know it can be confusing to get accurate temps as most of the writings give different Ideal temps for royals. How ever they all seem to stay with in 75f to 95f. 95 f being absolute warmest area in viv under lamp(basking area) and 75 being Night time temp low for cold end of viv. But again as WS says really 80f to 91f and your good... |

Hi Dave
Sorry I can't help as I'm quite new to this myself, but I'm sure someone will be able to help sort Keith out. |
