My brother has photoshop on his laptop which he has never used,is there any way i can nick borrow it by putting it on to a memory stick and putting it on my laptop,step by step guide would help
Hi Lee. If your brother has the CD and the licence key you can legally uninstall it from his laptop and put it onto yours instead. The later versions of Photoshop have a licence transfer tool that it prompts you to use during the uninstall. You would need the original CD though as you can't transfer installed software from one machine to another.
You can obtain it via Bittorrent. You would need to install the Bittorrent client software (it's free, Google it) and should be able to find Photoshop on a site like mininova or fulldls. Commercial software downloaded from there usually includes a crack or keygen to get around the licencing. I should point out however that obtaining software this way is illegal, and people have been prosecuted for it. It's a small risk, but it is there.
there's also a portable version of photoshop floating around the internet.. obviously dodgy but it works well enough. you can just whack that on a usb pen and use it from there without even installing anything :)
