weighed Peanut today and got a major shock...
his weight has shot up from

350g on 14/04/08 to 625/today

by my calculation that is a weight gain of 275g in 7 weeks.



this is not good is it?

it's to quick isnt it?

Thats quite fast. But he will probably poo and will be back to normal

That is quite a lot, how often are you feeding and how much are you feeding?

ok, he is being fed every 7-8 days

has been on large weaners the last four feeds, they weighed roughly 65-70g this was because i could not get medium ones round here on the last batch. i spoke about this if you remember.

he is not completely empty, he did a little one in the week, so yeah probably when he does go it will be like a mountain...lol

hoping to get medium weaners Tusday so will be back to normal feeding then-)

Those that you have are probably the right size now, 10-15% of 625g is 62.5-93.75g.

do i keep him on these or go back to medium ones?, i was going to switch back anyway if they had them in this week.

i dont want him growing to quickly, it is not good for him..

If you stay at those he won't continue to grow at that rate, he'll be fine.

He's just had a man-assisted growth spurt and should now be 'normal'.
