ok guys have been having a good mooch around the forum and the more i read the more im really swinging towards gettin one.. only thing tht concerns me .. why are they such fussy feeders??? and have red on various other sites tht they require a certain amount of misting for humidity levels???? so far what i have read the set up is very similar to corns, temps etc. just slight differences in food.

i like my animals more than i like people

It depends how you look at it, no they don't feed every time, every week, but that's not what they do in the wild.

They will eat when they want to and if you accept that then you won't get too stressed about it.

As long as they're not losing weight and becoming ill then they are just behaving naturally.

Agreed, and as for humidity, you shouldnt have to worry about it too much. A damp moss hide when shedding should be fine.

Royal hatchlings can start on Small Mice or Rat Pups.
