i struggled to get glass, my local glazier was pretty damned expensive although they did recommend it was toughened and they had to send it away after it was cut for that.........

i went for perspex for my last few builds, 4mm for the corns and 5mm for the Dums, and it's been fine, can fully recommend RED plastics

Standard 4mm glass is fine for royals. The 6mm toughened is used for the big boid like boas, retics...etc

My local glazer is not bad. cuts it out of a big sheet while i wait.

the toughening/laminating is generally advised as, being glass doors, they get handled a lot....
