I just thought i would let you guys know that after approx 5 months (152 days) that Hope decided she was hungry and ate a gerbil...

Cheers guys...
It is a relief and hopefully now i can get her up to breeding weight by the end of the year. It wasnt a live feed lee, she just decided it was time. She was a fussy feeder before i got her Anne, hadnt fed in 3 months-ish, but i got her feeding, then once she struck bit herself and hadnt eaten since. Thought today might go wrong when she struck, missed and hit the side of the RUB, but she showed dedication and had another go which she hit perfectly...

lol...yes they are... but she has refused them before...
The only thing with gerbils is that they are tiny. I think that one weighed about 45g-ish and she weighs 1200g-ish. its only a snack to her. |
