frank is totally not interested in his food, he seems to back away from it, i wiggled it, and ended up putting in his hide he is curled up next to the mouse, ive only had him since sunday, the shop said he was eating, should i be worried |

do not worry! we got ours on the 18th and she only fed on monday! i was totally worried but everyone in here reassured me and we just left her totally alone to settle in for few days then she showed signs of bein hungry! then she ate 2 days in a row!! |

The general advice is to leave them alone for 7-10 days to settle in, they are easily spooked so I'm not surprised he's not eating yet. Don't worry yourself  |

my royal wasnt intersted in her food for the second week running. so ended up putting her back in her viv and covering the substrate with newspaper and left the rat in there with her. well within 5 mins she was munching away and within 15mins all gone. very happy... |

well, little frank still wont eat for me ive had him 3 weeks tomorow, ive left him for 9 days without handling him, dont no what else to do? |

yes, its just frustrating will be releived when hes eaten, so unlike my corn and king snake they could eat for england, lol |

i know im being a little impatient but i thought she would have eaten by now to be honest.
im not worried yet as she left me a little present in her hide yesterday, which means to me she is still ok
was gonna try a mouse next BE...

i handled Queenie after a week of settling in, but quite quickly had to stop to try and get him to eat - i think that worked after about 3 weeks, so hang on in there  |
