...at using selant.
It gets everywhere and when I go to smooth it down I smudge it all over the place. Then when I take the selant gun out of the viv I wipe it all down the side  Im very lucky thats its clear! |

| Cheers piers , I have finished now but im hoping it will look alright. Does anyone know if selant will stick to itself if I find I did it too thin in one area? |

that the one rubbish thing about silicon based sealants it doesn't really stick to its self. So its either remove the old and replace with the new or make it extra thick to cover the old seal completely. |

Its been on for 24 hours and there are no fumes, do you lot reckon thats long enough?

| iv used aquarium selant in fish tanks lots of times and since thats in water and more a risk to poision, iv left for 24hrs before re adding water and never lost a fish so for use for a viv 24hrs should be fine as long as it aint tackey and no fumes it should be ok |
