A male is more likely to go off his food in winter though.

I have a female and she's great! She eats like a good 'un, I've never seen her ball up and she doesn't seem to mind being handled. Mostly she just sleeps in her cave and sticks her head out to say hello in the evenings.

Can they really produce eggs without mating?
