I have just been to look at a 06 female royal.
She was gorgeous... weighed 1077g but hasnt fed for 10 weeks
she has been messed about for the last few months with changing shops and and being sold, but the guy lost interest after afew weeks cos she wasnt feeding found her to much hassle and took herback, and now just is housed with a male in a small viv. all of which probably hasnt helped.
i think she would be fine if a proper home and a bit of peace and quiet.
i just dont know wot to do.... |

yes pal... had a good chat with is it chas?? about her and had her out for a while she is very active and seems fine other wise.
just think all the moving and messing about has stressed her. was thinking of getting her and putting her in a RUB and leaving her be for a few weeks to help sort her out, wot you think.

Chaz has hair, Paul doesn't.
Did Chaz know if she'd lost much weight?

it was chas then. had hair and a goatee...
he never said. and i didnt think to ask.
he said she was a good feeder before all the messing about on rat weeners regularly.
i think she is a really good price for that weight and age...it just the dreaded non feeding again. he did say that if she was feeding she would be double that price. |

at 1077g she must have been a good feeder before all the upset, i reckon the risk you're taking - all the sleepless nights, all the wasted defrosted mice - should be bargaining power, regardless of her alredy discounted price!
i've somehow managed to completely miss Chaz on every visit to the Leeds shop! anyone been to it's replacement T-Pets yet? |

Good luck with that one. Sounds like she could do with an owner like you to give her the tlc that she deserves. |

well guys i went in today and left a deposit for her...Whoop Whoop!!!
My girlfriend offered to buy her for me as a early christmas present if i wanted her.(she is a STAR. )
so after afew days of thinking, i decided it was a great snake, at a good price that was just going through a bad patch that hopefully i can turn round with a stable home and some TLC.
I get to pick her up on saturday once her RUB is all sorted and up to temp. cant wait!!! |

Good news, if you need any help assist feeding in the future (fingers crossed it won't come to that) let me know. Suggest you just weigh her regularly and monitor her weight if she continues to not eat. |
