Hi guys
last "general" question from me...
how many times a week should i handle my Python?
when is it safe to remove him from the VIV?
can i remove him from a hide?
for how long can i handle him?
can i put him down outside, with protection and cover ofcourse..

your inquisitive
Nick

When you get them, don't handle for a couple of weeks and until feeding to allow to settle in.

I only handle mine once a week, would probably not recommend more than twice a week for 15-30 mins.

Don't handle for 48hr after feeding and yes to everything else

all snakes are differnt but my 2 will just stay really still for the first 2minutes or so while they are out then they explore a little bit but then around 5-10 mins later you can tell they want to go back and hide.

not advisable to handle them at all while they're in the shedding process, their already-rubbish eye sight is even worse which can make them jumpy and unpredictable. best to just let them sit in a hide and get on with it
