Been feeding monty every 7 days on a monday since i got him and moved him onto weaned rat last monday but the last 2 evenings he spends a lot of time sniffing up and down the gap at the glass(as in ic)should i feed him more often or leave as is.

Every 7 days is probably often enough on weaner rats.

How old is he and how much does he weigh?

he's about 8months,dont know his weight but about 2' 4" long,do you thinks it's probaly because he's getting used to his new viv and feeling a bit brave.

just weighed him and he's approx 250g,hav'nt got digital scales so cant be exact.
