Hi guys, have changed nyo to aspen today and have noticed that the humidity is sitting at 70%, just wondered if there is any way thatI can drop this? thanks, scott

the waterbowl is about 2" away from the mat,

Try moving it to the cool end and see how it goes.

Try putting more water in the bowl aswell, a smaller amount of water will evaporate faster.

in all honesty its more the surface area that causes most of it ;) It just doesn't warm as fast if there is more of it.


Its weird having two snakes with such different humidity requirements, the Royal likes it hot and arid, the BRB cooler and humid as hell.

As said before, move the water bowl as far away from the heat as possible.

could always add another vent (if possible) at the oposite end to get better air circulation. thats wot i had too do.

i find 50-60% humidity that royals require is the same as my normal room humidty...
