i have a 30ins viv and i wont to now move my young royal in it as shes been in it inside a rub.can any one tell me please the best place to put the bulb holder .thermometers, also the stat probe.the thing that i find that makes it harder is whith the use of a bulb the light from it is not in one place so the heat from the bulb is not in one place.i have a 100 watt bulb and it has a guard is there any one who has this set up that might be able to help. |

You can just about see the bulb guard on the right-hand side in that pic, with the probe directly below it. |

You would have the thermostat probe along side the temp probe, as it's the temp on your thermometer display that you set your thermostat to. |

i agree. i wrap my thermometer sensor arount my stat sensor cos that way i can adjust my stat to the desire level instead of using the dial as a guide.
as for where you would place the probe i use mats so i dont know if its the same as for lamps. |

72 is about 22C I think, so that's ok. Strange that you lose so much heat though, is your house quite cold? |
