my royal is currently feeding on large mice and has been since we have had him (5 weeks) but dont know hen to move him up to bigger food! plus not sure if his weight is good, he is 200g 25inch long and around 8 1/2 months can anyone put my mind at rest please

It's good to get royals onto rats asap,why not try a weaned rat and see how it goes.As for size the prey should not be more than 1.5x the size of the thickest part of the snake and the weight seems ok,there all diffent

At 200g mine are on Large Rat Fluffs or Small Weaners.

I agree with above. As a guide mine was 355g at approx 8 months. but dont panic though cos all grow at different rates.

As long as he is feeding regulary i wouldnt worry at all.
