The past 3 days he has stayed wrapped round the middle twig and hasn't moved away. The temps & humid is all the same he doesn't seem stressed or scared. He doesn't use his hide anymore he'd rather park his back side there all day & night and have a nosey at what goin on out the viv. He has his regular 30-40 mins out of his viv but when he's going back in he goes straight for the middle twig and stays there. Does this behavior sound normal for a Royal?? He's startin to worry me
Wow, you have the first Royal pyboa! Wish mine sat outside its hide. Indy prefers to stay in his warm end hide non stop. Since feeding ive not seen him out once!
Hi was reading your thread and notice you have the same viv as Gladysssss, with the polystyrene back drop that looks like a stone effect. I have been getting up in the morning to find that Gladyss has left home and has pushed her way behind the back drop. On rescueing her each morning I find she is freezing cold, and after attempting to block up her entry to prevent her doing this again, I find she goes stright back to her exit route and spends most of the morning trying to get back in there. This has happened several times, and she is up her branch now as we speak trying to escape!!!! lol - sorry to hi jack your thread.
