| the gig was f##king amazing. Five finger death punch and unearth did a great job getting the crowd going before dimmu borgir came on and then it really kicked off. lamb of god took about 15 mins before they came onstage and the crowd were going crazy chanting and stuff. then the venue went completly dark and BOOM the insane LoG intro to "walk with me in hell" starting and the circle pit errupted. they played for nearly an hour. overall a great night for the £20 i payed to go. luckily i only got a black eye and a few bruises on my back, which is nothing compaired to the beating some people got. |

i am so, so, so very very jealous. i SO wanted to go to this gig >.<
still. i got to see slipknot/machine head/ children of bodom which isn't all that bad.
but gaddammit :( |

i kinda went off them when they released their most recent monstrosity of an album. did you know they used to be black metal? they were called hybrid theory then though.
absolutely have to see devildriver and the devin townsend project though :)

their last album wasnt their best work, i agree...seemed to go a bit political... |

and me having just been to a Saxon gig a few weeks ago...........
Can't stand death metal, proper Rock for me. LP are good though, new album is absolute crap. Numb is in my top ten tracks.

just the response i expected lol one band i would recomend seeing is the australian pink floyd,even though there a tribute band you wouldnt tell the differance and the shows are awesome,see them every year. |
