HI everyone, I'm new to snake keeping, haveing bought a corn snake a few months ago. I've really caught the bug now. I have been looking at ball pyhtons. What housing do they require? I've read that they don't need climbling space but need the floor space more.... is that right? Does there rub become just one big hide? What size requirements do they need to live in?
just as a rough guide! and as a brief summary - they don't appreciate a lot of space and can get stressy and not feed if their enclosure is too big. they quite often like to climb but aren't very good at it so an enclosure with a little height for branches might be appreciated but not an arboreal set-up. 2 hides and a water bowl are minimum requirements, substrate is similar to corns too. they need about average room humidity in their viv, possibly with a damp hide for shedding.
Cheers.... so what type of measurements would I be looking at for an adult as a rough guide if? Would a python be ok in a rub on top of my corns wooedn viv?
