I was surpirised at the RSPCA's answer to the phone call...

The RSPCA could have at least collected the animal and moved it on to someone more suitable.

Daz, your right..lol..seriously though somethng needs to be done, i was talking to someone yesterday about royals and how the world and his wife are breeding them, yes there are loads of good breeders out there but for every good one there are probably more bad ones just out for a quick buck, like puppy farmers, and sooner or later something is going to give, not just with royals, there are other snakes to, how many of them will be killed put to sleep or whatever because of the rspca's stance. what will happen to these snakes as they get older? It pains me to think of it.

Worked closely with the rspca locally with a lot of rescues i have had come through me and they have helped me a lot, i think they need to change there attitude, but i think the reason they wont is financial, snakes can live a lot longer than your average cat/dog or whatever so they probably think it will cost them more. I dont know, but it is scarey to think how many snakes will die at there hands...
