as most of u know i have a baby royal (lady) im just asking whats the best base temp of the rub at the hot end on were her hide sits on top its at 28.6c is this ok? thanks dan
you sure im just scared about burning her. i noticed today her belly is getting pink but it might coz she is due a shed i was worried i was burning her but at that temp i dont think that will be the case. so raise the temp of the heat mat so the base of the rub is 31c? im not gonna burn her am i? shes on kitchen rolls just throught i might add that lol

alraedy a member on the corn snake as i have 2 a charcoal and a anery hurricane motley they r both lovely the charcoal was just trying to type on here but it didnt work lol

You wont burn the snake! Imagine you hands are around 35-37c and you dont burn the snake when you hold it! My matt is on a stat and as it turns on and off it varys from 28-34. It cools down to 28 warms up to 34 and back down continiously. Not once has he been burned as a result of going over 30 :P
yer ok my mat does that even tho its on a dimmer goes down 2 28 then ova times its at 30 so i will just leave it at that i think thanks for the help guys
