Hi

I am thinking of moving my ball to a wooden viv and I´ve read there is no problem with having the UTH inside. But my ball python tends to tip his water bowl so am guessing I would need to cover the UTH to avoid any problems when he spills the water. What would you guys suggest would be the best to cover it with?

Iwould recommend moving to a heat bulb ideally, but if you do stick with the heat mat then you could coven it in lino and seal it down.

as above i would swap to a heat lamp, but if your sticking with a mat you could use lino and sealant (as BE said) or put the mat underneath (outside) the viv...
