So my boa was still not eating so I took him to the vet this morning. Although the symptoms haven't got worse he seems to have a respiratory infection. He's on antibiotics now, but he was also wormed - something I never realised was necessary.
The vet gave me some reptoboost as well, so between all that I'm hoping there will be a good chow down in the next week or so. |

Errrr, okay I'd be very interested in the results of the worming (and the price) I've never heard of anyone getting their snake wormed before. |

I'd never heard of that either, but he's the only reptile very in the country so I'm going with his advice. |

Well there you go. The vet said he may not need wormed but if he's sick and has worms then getting rid of the worms will help. |

I've learned something new anyway! He's given me some more worm medicine to administer in December (just inject into a rat). Hopefully he'll be feeding by then. He's in blue now so I'm going to have to wait until after the shed to re-administer the antibiotics. |
