He found his voice, so cute. The past couple of nights I have heard some strange calls, I live by a river so get a lot of river birds that call even at night. Anyway I'm sat watching TV and he pipes up, and it all becomes clear what the noises have been.

I then played a youtube video of one calling and he called too. Will try get a video.

My mam's male Toad sings to the girl : 3

He makes chirpy noises, grunts, barks and squeeks!

It's really good to listen to him do it so I can imagine what Waka must sound like : )

What kind of noises does he make?

Just me and my zoo.

When he is angry at me when I am cleaning him out he does this occasionally

But when he was croaking the other night it was just like this.

Though I wasn't tapping him like that, I know their skin is too delicate for all that.

It's interesting the different noises one Toad/Frog can make on it's own. He really shouts at you like that? Naughty Waka ; )

Will he calm down with you do you think or are they always a bit stroppy?

Just me and my zoo.

They do seem highly strung when you disturb them but most of the time if you scary them they just puff up and stand up on their back legs. He is definitely more settled than when I first got him and seeems happy enough when I am around providing I dont touch him.
