Pip, my Carpet Python gave me helluva scare. I had him on my shoulder, I kept checking and he was curled up in my hair. Next time I checked, no Pip although I could have sworn I could feel him..I gave myself a good pat all over, no Pip.
I called Katana, we pulled all the sofa cushions off..no Pip.
We carefully pulled the sofa out..no Pip.
We tipped the sofa upside down..its wooden frame and heavy but still no Pip..
I was looking under boxes, close to panic as Steve is away until next week, and saw a little head peering down at me from underneath the mantlepiece..he was watching me!
Another inch he could have gone behind a heavy corner display cabinet..we had words!! lol |

| I've had Spot give me the slip, snuck off the sofa when I looked away for a second, found him a foot away tangled in the lamp wires. They sure can move fast when they want to. |
