Went to an open day today at a rep shop not far from me today and had a hold of this its owner was busy snapping the birds of prey so didn't get a chance to ask questions i think its a carpet python it was really friendly and has made me want one lol how big do they grow and what size viv would an adult need? Also bought a few raffle tickets for the full beardie setup so got my fingers crossed for that too, my partner can't complain then if its free lol |

Thats a coastal carpet python, They are the biggest ones, think they reach up to 10ft. if you want smaller look at jungle carpets, or even irian jaya. For this you would want a 6-7ft viv, and they need some sort of high perch or branch coz they are arboreal. |
